Terms of Use

1. Purpose
These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern access to and use of the KROMADOC service (the "Service"), which automatically restructures documents (PDF, DOCX, CSV, plain text) into visual presentations. They apply to any visitor and any registered user ("you", "User"). The purchase and use of credits is additionally governed by our Terms of Sale.
2. Acceptance
Creating an account or using the Service implies unconditional acceptance of these Terms. If you do not agree with them, do not create an account and do not use the Service.
3. Account creation and security
You must provide accurate information when registering and keep your password confidential. You are responsible for all activity carried out from your account. For your security, we may recognize unfamiliar devices and request additional confirmation (device approval, two-factor authentication) before granting access. Notify us immediately at contact@kromadoc.com if you suspect unauthorized use of your account.
Each new account benefits from a limited amount of free credits intended for a genuine first use of the Service. Creating multiple accounts to fraudulently accumulate free credits is prohibited and may result in suspension of the accounts concerned.
4. Use of the Service
You agree not to submit, through the Service, any content that is illegal, infringes third-party rights (intellectual property, privacy), is defamatory, or is malicious (malware, phishing). You agree not to attempt to circumvent the Service's security or credit-metering mechanisms, nor to use automated means (bots, scraping) to abusively access the Service.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate any account that breaches this article, without refund of unused credits in case of proven fraud.
5. Intellectual property and license granted
You retain full ownership of the documents you upload and of the presentations generated from them. By submitting a document, you grant KROMADOC a limited, non-exclusive license to process it (via our AI processing provider) for the sole purpose of generating the requested output and providing you with the Service (storage, display, sharing at your request). We do not claim any ownership over your content and do not use it to train our own models.
The KROMADOC software, brand, and visual identity remain the exclusive property of the publisher (see Legal Notice).
6. Referral program
Users may join the referral program to earn commissions on purchases made by users they refer, under the terms displayed in their account at the time of enrollment. Enrollment in this program does not create an employment or agency relationship between the affiliate and KROMADOC.
7. Availability of the Service
We make reasonable efforts to keep the Service available and to ensure the quality of AI-generated content, but we cannot guarantee uninterrupted availability (in particular in case of maintenance, or unavailability of a third-party AI provider) nor perfect accuracy of automatically generated content, which you should review before any professional use.
8. Liability
The Service is provided "as is". To the extent permitted by applicable law, KROMADOC's liability is limited to direct, proven damages, and may not exceed the amount you paid for credits over the twelve months preceding the event giving rise to liability. KROMADOC cannot be held liable for content you submit or generate through the Service.
9. Termination
You may delete your account at any time from the "Danger zone" in My Account. We may suspend or terminate an account in case of a serious breach of these Terms, after notice where circumstances allow.
10. Governing law
These Terms are governed by French law, without prejudice to any mandatory protections you may benefit from under the law of your country of residence if you are a consumer. Any dispute will be submitted to the competent courts, or, for consumers, to the courts provided for by the applicable consumer protection rules.
11. Changes to these Terms
We may amend these Terms to reflect changes to the Service or to the law. Continued use of the Service after such changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
